Wil je de nagel versieren dan zorg je er eerst voor dat je de ondergrond maakt met behulp van een Nagellak of Gellak. Als de ondergrond droog is plaats je de tape over de nagel heen. Knip de striping tape na het aanbrengen met een schaartje op de juiste lengte.
Combineer striping tape met bijvoorbeeld een matte look of een Strassteentje. Zorg dat je de nagel na het aanbrengen altijd sealed met behulp van een sneldrogende Topcoat of een Topgel. Gebruik hiervoor op een natuurlijke of kunstnagel een gewone Topgel. Daarnaast kan voor een kunstnagel tevens worden gekozen voor een Topgel No Cleanse.
